3.7.13 Update

Welcome to August from Conductrics! ☀️

Our latest Conductrics version is 3.7.13. For those of you on dedicated Conductrics environments, we can update you to this version at your convenience. Just reach out to give us a time that's good for you.

Here's what's included:

  • Support for sending variation selections to Google Analytics 4. Support for GA4 audiences is expected in another Conductrics update. See GA4 Integration for details. #796
  • Added Self-Storage Mode for REST API for increased visitor privacy in some scenarios, or interoperability with Conductrics Express. #359
  • Option to Treat all visitors as QA at the Deploy Target level. #945
  • Preview Launcher: The "Launch Preview At" URL is now shown in the list of existing Shareable Links. #949
  • Preview Launcher: There is now a Pass preview params in URL hash switch available for sites that block the query params that "power" your previews. There is a corresponding option under Settings > Company Preferences > Advanced if you want this switch on by default. #826
  • Conductrics now honors the emerging Global Privacy Control (GPC) standard, if enabled in the browser. Visitors that have the GPC flag turned on in their browser will be ignored by Conductrics (same behavior as for the similar "Do-Not-Track" flag that most browsers offered historically). #946
  • You can now create View-States that trigger when an event is pushed into the Data Layer. #691

Reporting-related enhancements:

  • Testing Report: Additional filtering by Visitor Count, Estimated Mean Value, and Confidence in the Testing Report. #947
  • Testing Report: When selecting Goals / Conversions for an Agent, you can now "group" them into Primary, Secondary, or your own custom groups of secondary goals. This will then allow you to view the group's "combined" numbers in the Testing Report. Previously, only the Primary goals could be reported on in a "combined" manner. #608

Survey-related enhancements:

  • Added Survey-level option to retain the visitor's current page URL, which is then available in the Survey Responses report. #948
  • Added Survey-level option to control whether clicks on modal overlay should close the survey (default is yes, which preserves prior behavior). #953
  • Added filter in Survey Responses report to show Complete vs Partial survey responses (applicable only if the survey's "Send Partial Submissions when closing survey" option is on under Survey Options). #958
  • Minor improvements for surveys with "conditional" questions. #952 #955
  • Minor improvements to surveys that trigger on "Exit Intent" on mobile. #957
  • Minor improvements to survey-questions setup in the admin. #956 #932
  • Survey Agents no longer raise Sample-Ratio Mismatch (SRM) Concerns. #960
  • Accessibility: Improvements to keyboard navigation in surveys, and added a survey-level option to set the input focus to the first available input in the survey. #904 #962
  • Survey Themes: Added CSS variable input-focus-color to control the color of the outline for survey fields (buttons, text fields, etc) that have keyboard focus.

Fixes

  • Hitting Delete for a "Naming Convention" that hadn't been saved would return you to the Agent List. #961
  • Minor UX fixes when editing an existing Condition or changing the "milliseconds" field for a View-State.
